- Welcome NT to HCAMC, 2008
We are pleased
to announce the Northern Territory jurisdiction has joined the
Health Capital Asset Managers’ Consortium (HCAMC).

- Health Planning Unit (HPU) additions:
HPU Radiation Oncology recently approved by NSW Health and
uploaded separately under Guidelines, Part
B - Health Facility Briefing and Planning (recently approved HPUs).
Radiation Oncology will be integrated into the Australasian
Health Facility Guidelines Revision v3.0 (to be published
mid-2008).

|
- HCAMC
endorsed the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines (HFG) Revision
v2.0
for industry use by all jurisdictions in Australia and New
Zealand, commencing 23 November 2007.

- 49 x new
Standard Components - Room Data Sheets (RDS) and Room Layout Sheets
(RLS) made available for industry review in September.
|
- The
Australasian Health Facility Guidelines replace the existing NSW
Health Facility Guidelines effective 30 March 2007.

2006
|
- The Project Coordination Working
Committee (PCWC) is established with representatives of each
jurisdiction to amend and develop the Guidelines for implementation
in each jurisdiction.

- First
public release of Australasian Health Facility Guidelines (HFG)
in interactive web format in November.
|
- For
all
jurisdictions except NSW, a release for Industry Use and
Commentary for a 12 month period commencing 23 November 2006.

2005
|
- The Centre for Health Assets Australasia (CHAA)
is established 1 January as a
National Research and Development Centre hosted by the Faculty of
the Built Environment, to develop national Health Facility
Guidelines.

2004
|
- Health Capital Asset Management Consortium (HCAMC)
of Australia and New Zealand seeks tenders for the establishment of a centre to
undertake research and
development work in the area of health asset and facility
management.
