The Audiology Control Room may be provided adjacent to the Audiology Testing Room to support the administering of tests that require discrete observation, result verification by a second clinician and/or remote control of equipment.
The room will require a workspace and visibility of the Testing Room via an observation window. Additional Consideration:
- The floor of the Control Room should be flush with the floor of the Treatment Room and the adjacent corridor for access by patients in wheelchairs
- Portable equipment may be shared between the Control Room and the Treatment Room.
